Services Australia allows BP users a grace period for Medicare web services

Services Australia has agreed to a grace period up to the end of August for practices using Best Practice Premier that have not yet upgraded to the new Medicare web services-enabled version.

BP Software made available the Medicare web services-enabled version of its Saffron release in early March, just before the original cut-off date of March 13, but secured a three-month extension to transition to Saffron SP3 to be able to continue to transmit Medicare claims and notifications of immunisations to the Australian Immunisation Register.
