Wavelink to distribute Imprivata’s medical device access solution in ANZ

Healthcare technology distributor Wavelink has signed an agreement with digital identity specialist Imprivata to offer its medical device access system as part of Wavelink’s Connected Health portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.

Imprivata’s medical device access system enables secure authentication for accessing patient information on medical devices, including those from leading manufacturers such as Welch Allyn and Capsule Tech. The aim is to replace manual entry of usernames and passwords on medical devices that require user authentication with fast log-in through the tap of an Imprivata badge.
