Move to NZ national health service will deliver on technology promise: Little
Decades of promising but failing to deliver digital tools to improve health outcomes and enable better access to healthcare can be overcome with a fundamental restructure of the New Zealand health system, Health Minister Andrew Little says.
Mr Little announced sweeping reforms to the health system this week which will see the 20 district health boards disbanded and replaced by one national organisation dubbed Health NZ.
